I grew up as the only girl from a family with four children. I lived in a not-that-poor family in a suburb in Thailand. I was the eldest of the four children which meant that I was also to become the breadwinner of the family. But before I could become the breadwinner of the family and work to support them, I first needed to get the right educational attainment that was mandated by several high-paying professional companies which I was seeing on TV and outside the house.
Considering our financial hardships, my education was nearly impossible to support.
